Established in 1987, Business Advancement Services Sdn Bhd (BAS) is one of the pioneering software houses specialised in developing accounting and payroll applications for small businesses. TradePac Plus for Windows and PayWise for Windows are two of our staple products which have strong appeals to companies. In our effort to meet consumers' demands, we have developed different flavours of these products. These offshoots addresses the unique demands of various businesses.

  • TradePac was awarded a near perfect overall rating of 9 points in an evaluation done by Computimes reviewers.
  • Quote " Although simple to use, TradePac does not compromise on features as it provides the user with a complete computerised accounting system ...."

21/07/1988
  • MediPac was given a favourable review by Computimes.
  • Quote " Fresh from the success of its integrated accounting package, Business Advancement Services has developed yet another local product to show that the local software industry is alive and kicking".

10/11/1998
  • Electronic Petty Cash and MailPower, two other application packages were coined 'Useful Packages' by Computimes.
  • Quote " Business Advancement Services is one of the few local companies producing software for the commercial market. Their products are attractively packaged and reasonably priced ".

04/01/1990
  • LawPac debuts and BAS is again in the news (NST).
  • Quote " LawPac has been developed to assist legal firms computerise their accounting processes."

12/09/1991
  • Sin Chew Jit Poh carried out a review of some of our packages.

06/08/1993
  • Systematic Commercial Training Centre included TradePac as part of their computerised accounting course.

08/11/1993
  • Informatics Institute was appointed Authorised Training Centre for TradePac.

07/01/1994
  • Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore adopted TradePac for their own use.
